USDIDX: United States Consumer Price Index (CPI) report on April 11 is the major event for forex markets in April 8 -12 week. Investors will be watching closely to see whether the consumer inflation rises again or declines after recent strong report from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) showing US factory activity unexpectedly expanded in March. In case the inflation rises from the previous reading of 3.2% over year this may support the view the Federal Reserve will keeping rates unchanged until moving to cut later in the year - otherwise USDIDX will get a bearish impulse.

EURUSD: European Central Bank interest rate decision is an important event for forex market. European Central Bank will hold its conference on April 11. Inflation is receding in the euro zone, and there is uncertainty when the ECB will lower rates while it is widely expected it will happen in the second quarter of the year. It is widely expected that ECB will stand pat on April 11 but a dovish statement against the backdrop of receding inflation in euro zone will be bearish for EURUSD.
